Compass Academy Trust is a multi-academy Trust that seeks to enable its children to thrive – both academically and in their personal development. Our aim is to enable children to be confident and resilient and to be ready to meet the world and contribute to it as responsible local, national and global citizens.

As a family of schools, we work together as one entity to improve and maintain high educational standards across the group. We share ideas and expertise with each other, supporting each other to achieve equity and equality of opportunity for all children. This enables us to provide an inspiring, ambitious curriculum that enables children to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours through purposeful and experiential learning.

Each of our schools has its own identity but as a Trust we hold in common principles or ‘golden threads’ as well as an overall vision, purpose and core values that hold us together in close partnership. Such partnership provides support to each other as well as mutual accountability and a driving force for continual development and improvement.

Recognising that our staff are key to our success, we offer structured pathways for teachers, supported by high-quality professional development so that teachers and leaders learn together.

Having a highly effective central business team, we enable teachers and leaders to spend more of their time focussed on the one thing that counts the most – the education of children.

We are currently a Multi Academy Trust of four primary schools who achieve high outcomes for our children. Our plan is to achieve ongoing sustainability through growing the number of pupils and schools in the Trust and we welcome discussions from schools or Trusts who are interested in working with us.
