We have an exciting opportunity to be the SEND Leader (SENCo) across two of our academies, Marian Vian and Oak Lodge Primaries. We are therefore looking for an experienced SENCo to come and join our team.

As SEND Leader across the two schools, you will be supported by a SENCo Assistant in each school.  This is a role designed to complement the role of the SEND Leader in order to manage administrative and other delegated tasks.  This will support the SEND Leader to have the capacity to facilitate the best educational provision for children with SEND.

Oak Lodge Primary Schook

30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Oak Lodge are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will work in partnership with teachers to deliver planned learning activities throughout our school. This will include providing whole class supervision, small group work as well as cover for PPA and leadership release. 

 

Grade:                        BR7      Point: 22 - 25               FTE:  £25,737 - £27,760

Actual Salary:              £18,373 - £19,817

Contract:                     Permanent

Hours:                          30 hours per week

Weeks Per Year:         39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Primary Location:        Oak Lodge Primary School

7.5 hours per week Mon-Fri, term time 38 weeks per year.

We are looking always looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals to be responsible for pupils’ welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break. 

 

The roles will be based at one of Compass Academy Trust’s family of schools (Unicorn, Oak Lodge, Marian Vian, Wickham Common) which are all within the London Borough of Bromley in the BR3 and BR4 postal districts.

 

Grade:             Grade BR3       Point: 9 – 11

Salary:             Actual: £3,529 pa (FTE £20,297)

Hours:              7.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

         (Hours to be agreed but typically 12.00-1.30pm)

Contract:         Permanent, term time only (38 weeks per year)

 

The successful applicants will:

 

  • Work well within a small team
  • Enjoy working in a child centred environment
  • Be organised, flexible, able to work independently and calmly
  • Behave in a warm, yet professional manner towards colleagues, pupils and visitors at all times, and contribute to the positive ethos of the schools and the Trust
  • Be prepared to work outside in a variety of weather conditions

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Supervising pupils in the lunch hall, on the playground and in the classroom to ensure their safety and wellbeing
  • Overseeing play based activities
  • Promoting good manners and appropriate behaviour
  • Supporting and encouraging pupils’ social interaction
  • Undertaking first aid as necessary in accordance with health and safety guidelines
